Monday, September 7, 2015

Joost van Ginkel's new film THE PARADISE SUITE will premiere at the Netherlands Film Festival on September 26th. The raw-realistic mosaic tells of several people with very different backgrounds who find each other in Amsterdam and somehow influence each other's lives.

We're thrilled that THE PARADISE SUITE has been selected for the Toronto International Film Festival and has also been chosen as the Dutch entry for the Oscars 2016.

New for Now. Rijksmuseum

Friday, June 12, 2015

From 12 June, the Rijksmuseum presents a major retrospective of its rich collection of costume and fashion prints for the first time.

The change in women's and men's fashion from the year 1600 up to and including the first half of the 20th century, and the development of the fashion magazine into the fashion glossies we know today, can be seen in more than 300 prints.

The exhibition was designed by designer and co-curator Christian Borstlap, in collaboration with fashion illustrators Piet Paris and Quentin Jones.

We were commissioned by director and designer Christian Borstlap to make an animation for the exhibition.  Animation by Bart Otto

The exhibition starts june 12th and closes september 27th

Land and Shade wins Camera d’Or

Land and shade / La Tierra y la Sombra, directed by César Acevedo, won the Caméra d’Or in Cannes during the The 68th annual Cannes Film Festival.

The Caméra d’Or is the award given for the best first feature film presented in one of the Cannes’ selections.

Land and Shade premiered at Semaine de la Critique in Cannes and received three other prices earlier this week: the France 4 Visionary Award, the Rail d’or prize and the Society of Dramatic Authors and Composers SACD Prize. Land and Shade becomes the first Colombian film to ever win the Caméra d’Or in its 36 years of existence, and it becomes the fourth Latin American film to win the award.

We are very proud to be part of the crew for this amazing film.
