The Commune - Thomas Vinterberg

Our visual effects team is currently working on 50+ shots for the new film directed by Thomas Vinterberg (Festen, Jagten)


Set in the mid-1970s, the film is inspired by Vinterberg’s colourful childhood in an academic commune north of Copenhagen.


The film will premiere januari 2016

Storm wins VNAP VFX award 2014 on NFF

We are proud to announce that we have won the VNAP VFX Award for Best Visual Effects 2014 for our work on ‘Das Wad’

Our visual effects supervisor Luuk Meijer received the price on behalf of the whole Storm team from Erik-Jan de Boer after his keynote on the VFX of ‘Life of Pi’

The ceremony was after the VFX sessions during the Netherlands Film Festival in Utrecht


Thanks Rob & Hazazah for this great opportunity to go all the way with the VFX!!!

Here some examples of the visual effects we made for the TV series Van Gogh aired last may on NED1.

The four part series Van Gogh tells the story of the famous Dutch painter Vincent Van Gogh and his nephew Vincent Willem. Two storylines play out around 1880 and 1950 and several exteriors had to be recreated in post.
