STORM is looking for a Motion Design intern!

STORM Post Production is seeking a talented and passionate Motion Design intern to join our dynamic team in the heart of Amsterdam. If you are in your 3rd or 4th year of film or art school and eager to hone your motion design skills, this opportunity is for you. At STORM, we offer a professional and creative internship experience where you’ll work under the guidance of our Motion Design Supervisor and collaborate closely with a team of experienced producers.

About STORM

STORM is located in a beautiful spot in the centre of Amsterdam. We specialise in Visual Effects, Color Grading, Editing, and Motion Design. STORM is an informal company where creativity plays a key role. Our team consists of 25 permanent colleagues, and we collaborate with many dedicated freelancers. STORM is innovative, open to new developments, and has a keen eye on the evolving (international) media landscape. We work with great enthusiasm on the latest (inter)national commercials, films, and series. We do this for leading companies and brands. We’re seeking a motivated student who:

• Is pursuing a degree in film, art, media or a related field.
• Is enthusiastic, sincere, and proactive.
• Is available 4-5 days a week, for a minimum of 4 months.
• Is fluent in English (Dutch fluency is a plus).
• Has a passion for motion design and a keen eye for detail.
• Has experience with Adobe After Effects (required).
• Knowledge of Cinema4D and Blender is an advantage.

Responsibilities

As a Motion Design intern, you will:

• Build 2D and 3D assets.
• Create title sequences.
• Animate 2D/3D title sequences and other elements.

Skills

• Proficient in Adobe After Effects.
• Understanding of cinematography and composition.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Awareness of current creative trends in motion design.
• Knowledge of Cinema4D is a bonus.
