Arezo

No language has more words for ‘pain’ than Farsi. When Iranian choreographer and danser Arezo gets an unexpected visit from her brother Koshan, this notion becomes the Leitmotiv for a stilled, emotional showdown between two refugees. With a sobre palette the director portrays two creative people trying to express an unspeakable trauma that they have in common, but cannot share.
